The Delhi High Court on Monday issued a notice to social media giant Twitter on a petition filed against it for allegedly not complying with the new I-T rules

While Twitter claimed before the Delhi High Court that it has complied with the rules and appointed a resident grievance officer, the central government disputed the claim.

The court said the legality of the project was already upheld by the Supreme Court. It added that even the Delhi Disaster Management Authority allowed it to continue, workers were already present at the site and, therefore, "we see no reason to stop the work".

Delhi's Rohini Court on May 29 granted the police further 4-day remand of wrestler Sushil Kumar and one other accused in connection with the alleged murder of wrestler Sagar Dhankar. The Court partially allowed the Delhi Police remand application to further question Sushil Kumar in connection with the case. While granting further remand, Duty Metropolitan Magistrate Mayank Goel of Rohini Court said medical of the arrested accused to be done as per rules.Delhi Police, which was seeking further 7-day remand of Sushil Kumar, that Sushil Kumar is the main culprit of the heinous offence and is not cooperating during the interrogation. Delhi Court granted bail to businessman Navneet Kalra in connection with a case relating to the hoarding of oxygen concentrators in a restaurant in South Delhi on May 29. The Delhi High Court on Friday gave three weeks to businessman Robert Vadra to reply to the Income Tax (I-T) Department notices under the black money law.

A bench of Justices Rajiv Shakdher and Talwant Singh issued notice to the I-T Department and asked it to file within four weeks its response to Vadra's petition challenging notices issued to him on December 4, 2018 and December 18, 2019 under Section 10 (1) of the Black Money Act, 2015.

Delhi Police on Friday arrested another associate of wrestler Sushil Kumar in connection with the alleged murder of wrestler Sagar Dhankar.According to Delhi Police, the accused has been identified as Rohit Kakor.

Eight persons including wrestler Sushil Kumar have been arrested in connection with 23-year-old Sagar Dhankar's murder at Chhatrasal Stadium.

The move comes a month after the Delhi government withdrew an administrative order to set up a 100 bed Covid care facility at a five star hotel for High Court judges, staff and their families.
